I had a great experience at Kinship. The staff and the community encouraged me to set some priorities and set my life in a positive direction. All of the staff helped me to see things I needed to change in my life to stay sober. This was also facilitated by my experience at SCASAS. I would highly recommend Kinship to anyone that needs an "extra" boost or a positive support to help them stay on a straight path. By all means I am not saying I'm cured. I will never be cured and need to work daily to stay sober. I just feel my experience at Kinship opened my eyes to many things including diversity, honesty and that there is and can be a sober life for me. I would like the entire staff at Kinship to know how much I appreciate all that they have done for me. And while the program is not for everyone I know I feel it was right one for me!
